Today we’re getting to know one of our lead dentists Dr Nagore Benito as part of our regular meet the team feature. We believe it’s important that you know their backgrounds and education so that you can feel very confident in their care.
Nagore was born in San Sebastian in the North of Spain and speaks Spanish, English and the Basque language Euskera. She studied dentistry at the University of the Basque country, graduating in 2008. Since she graduated, she worked in several private dental practices in Spain to get experience in different settings and then went to live and work in the North of England. She lived in England for seven years, working as a general dentist for both private and NHS patients and improving her English.
She really relished her time in the UK as she saw so many patients with different problems and had to solve them quickly and efficiently. She has brought this experience, knowledge and an excellent level of English back to Spain to set up MarDenta in Marbella, alongside her colleague Dr Nacho Duran. Together they have created a team of specialists in their fields to provide an excellent all-round dental care experience.
Nagore’s speciality is orthodontics and she has been continuing her studies to broaden her knowledge, taking courses on implants, health and safety, safeguarding children, cross infection control, radiography and treatment planning. She has also recently completed the Invisalign course to make her an official provider of the Invisalign invisible braces in Marbella.
Dr Nagore is patient, kind and gentle, great with children and nervous patients and a real expert in her field. You can choose between Dr Nagore and Dr Nacho as your lead dentist. Choose Nagore for Orthodontics, or if you would prefer a female dentist.
