Summer in Marbella really is a special time and there’s so much going on under our famously sunny skies. So you don’t miss a thing, here’s a rundown of the best events happening this month from your friendly Marbella dentist. Thursdays in the Old Town – Marbella Old Town is a lovely place to visit at any time, but during July they have special discounts in the shops, live music and free tastings every Thursday, so it’s a great time to have a wander around this stunning, historic part of Marbella.
Banus Artisan Market – There’s a great summer market right in the centre of Puerto Banus which runs all this month and until the 31st of August. Starlite Marbella – This series of concerts in an old quarry above Marbella is becoming an essential summer fixture for anyone on the Costa del Sol and it starts on the 14th of July. For a whole month the team brings amazing stars to Marbella for concerts, as well as hosting loads of great events such as fashion shows and party nights. Beach Club and Pool Parties – The beach clubs Nikki Beach, Ocean Club and La Sala by the Sea ramp up their events in July and August holding regular special events. Nikki Beach have Sunset BBQs every Friday, Amazing Sundays and special parties like the Sounds of Summer party on the 20th or the Baywatch party on the 23rd. Ocean Club is holding regular Saturday and Sunday events and has an amazing Champagne Party with Sintillate on the 31st of July. Sisu Boutique Hotel holds Pool parties almost every Friday and Puro Beach has a Pool Party on the 26th July too. Sunday is the biggest day for these clubs with Ocean Club, Nikki Beach and the Beach House, all providing something special for the last day of the week. Marc Anthony in Marbella – This Saturday (9th July) Marc Anthony is playing a concert in San Pedro’s football stadium. This is his only concert in Andalucia, so expected to be very popular.
Marbella Global Gift Gala – On 17th of July Eva Longoria and a whole host of stars descend on the Gran Hotel Melia Don Pepe, right behind our dental clinic for this amazing charity gala. There’s live music, a sumptuous banquet and entertainment for an unforgettable night raising money for very worthy causes. Find out more
Seal in Marbella – On the 18th of July, Seal will be playing at the Puente Romano tennis club in Marbella, a really lovely and intimate venue to see such a great performer who is amazing live. Find out more and buy tickets
Raphael Sinphonico in Marbella – Raphael and the Malaga Symphony Orchestra is playing at the Marbella Bull Ring on the 19th July at 22.00.
Marbella Art Fair – From the 29th of July to the 3rd of August head to Marbella’s Palacio de Congresos right next to our dental clinic for an amazing selection of contemporary art. The exhibition will be open from midday to 10.30pm and tickets can be bought on the door for 15€.
Concordia Summer Gala – This amazing local charity raises money for AIDS victims and their families and running education programmes to teach youngsters how to stay safe is rounding off a packed July with their summer gala, their biggest fundraising event on the year. It will be held at Babilonia at Olivia Valere and always attracts the crème de la crème of Marbella society to support this very worthy cause. Find out more
